The magnificent Fernery Lodge and Chalets situated above a 30m waterfall with breathtaking views of the river gorge is the perfect romantic and peaceful getaway for nature lovers. Each unit has a unique theme inspired by the magnificent surroundings and comes with stunning views of either the river mouth, Indian Ocean and or Tsitsikamma Mountains.

Every effort has been made to ensure guests’ comfort, from crisp percale linen and large luxurious bathrooms; to underfloor heating, DStv, tea- and coffee-making facilities, a bar fridge stocked on request, digital safes, hairdryers, and bathrobes. There are open fireplaces in the lounge and dining room, a jacuzzi, sauna, and a swimming pool, which are some of the features that make the lodge a really special destination.
The beauty of Tsitsikamma has to be seen to be believed where rugged cliffs, indigenous forests, and the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean meet the deep gorges and waters of the Storms River. Hiking, tubing, ziplining over waterfalls or in the canopy of trees, bungee jumping is just a few things one can look forward to in the Garden of the Garden Route.
